  1. The most challenging part for me was learning hand coding and coding in general because I have never done it before. I did spend time out of class practicing, but I think if I had done a little more practicing I would have gotten the hang if it quicker.
  2. It was really easy to learn was our development phases we did when we were planning, sketching and making mockups. I’ve had other design based classes at my old school, so we had gone over some of that before. I don’t think you should spend less time on them because some students may not have had that experience before and it is really helpful overall to know exactly your plan going into a project.
  3. I don’t have anything that I would think we should remove entirely. Since I didn’t have any coding experience or anything like that, I would have liked to spend a little more time going over it.
  4. While I think it’s clear that no one loved Dreamweaver, I do recognize that it was important for us to use that first so we could learn hand coding and HTML/CSS. I think without Dreamweaver, a lot of students would have trouble getting into later projects. I will say that I think introducing Webflow in earlier projects would work ok. Maybe have the warm ups and first project on Dreamweaver and introduce Webflow for Project 2? That way people get the experience and knowledge from Dreamweaver, but can start on Webflow a bit sooner.
  5. Ps, I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed this class!
