The author of “The Web’s Grain” Frank Chimero, mentions that his fascination in the Web has faded. This did discourage me a little to be honest. But as I read on, he talked about his desire to re-kindle his love for design. Through out the article, Chimero gives different examples of web design and even goes into some art pieces.

This article did make me excited for web design. I am excited to play with the “edgelessness” Chimero described. I’ve been interested in design for as long as I can remember, and reading the article has put me in a good mind set for beginning my design journey. I’m also excited to take the lessons in design I learned at my old school, and apply them to this class. Over all, I know that this class will be something that I will enjoy and strive to excel in.
